Elijah Thompson

Where it all began

When Elijah was 12 years old, a close family friend invited him and his mother to a work leaving meal. At the meal, a photographer handed Elijah a Nikon DSLR Camera to take some photographs. This was the moment Elijah’s journey into the world of photography began.

Elijah Wilson – Thompson, a humble young man, whose passion for photography has given him an outlet to express himself creatively. His early photography focused on landscape and architecture. He was later hired as an official photographer for a School Leaving Prom. A significant booking that gave him the opportunity to use his skills in the primary school he attended as a child. This was the turning point which grew his confidence as a professional photographer.

Elijah joined Mykal ‘Wassifa’ Brown Foundation as a participant on their HLF funded Youth Programme. He became an Official Wassifa Photographer for The Wassifa Caribbean TV Show and concerts headlined by international artists such as Maxie Priest, Julian Marley and Beres Hammond.

Elijah recognises the importance of serving others by giving time. He has supported a number of charitable events including The New Narrative Enterprise Foundation’s first fashion fundraiser in association with Mercedes – Benz in aid of economic and child poverty.

Elijah now has an amazing portfolio which ranges from landscape; architecture, civic and corporate photography to intimate family occasions. His portfolio includes images captured in private meetings with industry icons such as Jeremy Corbyn; Flash the Kash, Frank Bruno, Apache Indian & Aston Villa FC owner Tony Xia.

Elijah was 16 years old when he decided to start his business as a freelance photographer trading as ET Photography. His aim is to translate emotion and character through images and… to capture the world through a lens.
